Junior Academy East Director – Liam continues to serve in his current role of overseeing the Elite Academy, Junior Academy and Junior Discoveries programs in the East.  Liam is passionate about the development of young players as they transition from Recreation soccer to our Competitive levels.

Liam has been working in the  Jr. Academy since May 2015. Liam worked for 5 years at the Carolina Elite Soccer Club in Greenville, S.C., most recently as their Center of Excellence Director. Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Liam played collegiate soccer at Clayton State University in Atlanta, GA, winning a conference championship and earning All-Conference and All-Region honors during that time.  Liam holds an NSCAA Advanced National coaching license and SFA (Scottish Football Assn.) level 1 certificate.

Mike grew up in Pinehurst, NC and played high school soccer for Pinecrest High School and club for AC Sandhills. Mike moved to Greensboro in 2014 to play soccer at Greensboro College, where he graduated in 2018. Mike began coaching for GUSA in 2017 as a Junior Academy coach and in the Fall of 2019, he began his first season on the Greensboro College coaching staff.
